  1. If I am laid off, when can I expect to receive my last check?

    The County will pay you for your wages earned through your layoff date on the regular pay date following the close of the pay period. You will be paid the remainder of your final pay (i.e. monetary value of your vacation, CTO, and HIL balances) as soon as administratively possible after your layoff date. Your layoff date is specified in your layoff letter.
