Most County offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6th, in observance of Labor Day. Sacramento County Parks will be operating on Monday, with the exception of Gibson Ranch. Gibson Ranch will be closed on Sept. 6. Regional Parks is implementing a temporary entrance fee increase of $8 for single vehicles and $13 for cars towing watercraft at all County Parks over the holiday period. This increase will not affect annual pass holders. Keep in mind that the alcohol ban in the American River Parkway (from Watt to Hazel) will be in force over the weekend. Sacramento County has finalized a contract with the Grace Foundation, a horse rescue organization, to provide interim boarding services for horses at Gibson Ranch while a longer term arrangement is developed. For more information, view the news release.
